Before Sunrise (1995) Review

"Do you want to go see if that listening booth still works?"

I think everyone deserves one first date that goes a little like this.

Helpful in a two-hander like this one, Ethan Hawke and Julie Delphy are both looking good. That was not always so easy in the mid-nineties, although perhaps Europe sat out the purple & teal-stravaganza.

The spark between them obviously won't last (or will it?! I haven't watched the sequels yet), but that's all part of the fun.
