Parasite (2019) Review

"Money is an iron."

The way Parasite constantly wriggles and shifts just as you think it's about to settle into a stable narrative is so damn good. It's like a fly buzzing around a kitchen. And in this film, no one is cracking a window to let it slip back outside.

Capitalism means exploitation; not a message that typically snags a Best Picture at the Oscars, but if you nestle it into a scheming, darkly humorous cuckoo's nest of modern architecture...

Somehow, the medicine went down. A masterpiece.
